National Museum of Bible History
Experience the Bible. Learn what it is about. Understand its message. This interactive showcase will teach and inspire scholars and skeptics to further appreciate Biblical Christianity. Visitors will encounter the history of the Old Testament and experience the message of the New Testament. They will leave with a greater appreciation of the inspiration and preservation of this “God breathed book.” Along with the interpretive exhibits the National Bible Museum’s Scriptorium will house priceless artifacts and manuscripts which document the Bible’s heritage. A recreation of a Jerusalem “shuk” (outdoor market) will give visitors opportunity to purchase resources and souvenirs to complement their museum visit. The facility will also house an auditorium, commercial kitchen, media production studios, and the offices of the Bible Nation Society.

Museum Exhibits:
Part 1: Inspiration
- Introduction to the Bible - guest will be introduced to what the Bible is, the Word of God.
- Old & New Testament Survey – guest will walk through the timeline of the Bible highlighting major events and characters.
- Revelation Cyclorama – guest will experience the book of Revelation with a perspective of earth below and heaven above.
Part 2: Preservation
- Influences – guest will learn how the Bible has shaped the world they live in.
- Bible Media – guest will learn about the different media that has been used to communicate and preserve the Bible, from stone tablets to the electronic age.
- Printing & Distribution – guest will appreciate the great efforts undertaken by many to spread the Bible around the globe.
- Scriptorium – guest will be able to view rare manuscripts and artifacts that echo the story of God’s preserved book.
Part 3: Shuk & Traveling Exhibits
- Jerusalem Shuk – guest will instantly be transported to the hustle and bustle of the outdoor, open air market shuks found in the old city of Jerusalem. This will provide an opportunity for guest to purchase museum merchandise and eat in the café.
- Traveling Exhibits – guest will have a reason to return often to the museum to view the many traveling exhibits the museum will host.
